This hot air dryer is designed to rapidly and uniformly remove moisture from substrates after they have been coated with finishes like stain, varnish or lacquer, mostly for waterborne coating.
General
This dryer has a long tunnel, enclosed structure lined with multiple IR emitters (like powerful heat lamps), plus a forced air circulation system. Products are placed on a conveyor that moves at a controlled speed through the tunnel, receiving a precise amount of radiant energy to achieve the desired result, such as drying, curing, baking, or heating.
For different substrates, we have different length options, 4M / 6M / 8M / 10M / 12M, or others.

Applications
Any substrate that is applied with waterborne stain or coating.
- The forced hot air significantly accelerates the drying and curing process compared to air drying or simple infrared heating, reducing the time between coating and packaging
- The even air circulation ensures every part of every board is dried identically, resulting in a consistent finish hardness and appearance (color, gloss level).
- Controlled temperature and humidity prevent common finishing flaws like blushing (haze from moisture), orange peel (textured surface), bubbling, and poor adhesion.
- A properly cured finish is harder, more scratch-resistant, and longer-lasting.

The structure is built with 50*150mm high-strength square HSS & 3mm thick cold plate. It’s designed for reliability and minimal maintenance, ensuring consistent and uninterrupted operation.
The enclosed chamber protects the emitters, and improves safety and energy efficiency by preventing heat loss to the surrounding environment.

The conveyor speed, combined with the tunnel’s length, determines the product’s ‘dwell time’ (exposure time)

Uses IR emitters

- Through the control panel, you can set the zone temperatures, conveyor speed, power levels.
- The electric heaters generate the heat.
- Fans forcefully circulate the heated air throughout the chamber. Strategically placed nozzles ensure the air is distributed evenly across the entire surface of every board on the conveyor.
